Here we are a few months into 2021 and the Covid 19 virus is continuing to put a damper on the music scene here in Edmonton and around the World. We are once again in lockdown mode and no practicing or live gigs can be had.

I have decided to continue on with recording the new Basler EP anyway and do most of it in my basement on my own. I am excited to try my hand out at doing most of the work here at home. I find the process much more relaxing than in the pro studio and I am not so worried about the cost of recording now. I will try to mix it myself  and send it off for mastering but will see how it goes. I have learned a lot in the last year about DIY and the music industry and I am excited to get things going in 2021. 

Speaking of DIY, I have also being producing an new online series called "Basler's Basement". The first episode aired in February and Episode 2 is scheduled for the end of April. Check out the first Episode here if you haven't seen it yet! I had a lot of fun making "Basler's Basement" Episode 1 and am looking forward to showing you Episode 2 very soon.
